Nassau County and Amelia Island
There is no inland hiding place on Amelia Island, so aluminum and PVDF are the specification. Mainland Nassau is a structural-panel market on a completely different budget.

Fernandina Beach is on Amelia Island at the very top of the state, and its downtown is a fifty-block Victorian historic district. Roofs there are reviewed, and standing seam and 5V both have a legitimate place in that vocabulary. What changes is seam height and panel width, which is exactly the sort of thing we settle before fabrication rather than after.
Amelia Island is barrier-island exposure on two sides, with the Atlantic to the east and the Amelia River and marsh to the west. There is no inland hiding place on the island. Aluminum panels with a PVDF finish are the specification we stand behind here; a steel panel on an oceanfront Fernandina roof is a warranty conversation waiting to happen.
Nassau County also carries a heavy industrial base around Yulee and the port, plus the fast-growing Wildlight development off I-95. Those are structural panel jobs - large, simple roofs where coverage per panel drives the number - and a short run up I-95 from our yard keeps freight off the invoice.
Approvals
Nassau County is outside the High Velocity Hurricane Zone - the HVHZ is Miami-Dade and Broward only - so every profile in our catalog can be permitted in Fernandina Beach.
SL100, SL150, NS150, M100 and M150 carry HVHZ and Miami-Dade approval, which is a higher bar than Nassau County requires, so those specs clear plan review with room to spare.
NS100, 5V, RIB and PBR are approved for use outside the HVHZ, which covers Nassau County and every other Florida county except Miami-Dade and Broward. They are fully permittable here.

Fernandina Beach is inside our Northeast Florida delivery radius, a short run from the Jacksonville yard. Orders move on our schedule, which is what makes late trim changes survivable on a custom build.

Aluminum with a PVDF finish. Amelia Island has salt exposure from the Atlantic on one side and the river and marsh on the other, and aluminum will not corrode at a cut edge or a scratched fastener hole the way a steel panel eventually does in that air.
