Panel warranties
Standing seam
The term follows the substrate and the coating, not the profile. Snaplock, nailstrip and mechanical lock panels rolled from the same coil carry the same coverage.
- 40-year limited warranty on Galvalume steel coated with Sherwin-Williams WeatherXL SMP
- 35-year limited warranty on Galvalume steel and aluminum coated with Sherwin-Williams Kynar 500
- 20-year limited warranty on AZ55 acrylic-coated Galvalume steel
Oil canning is an aesthetic characteristic of light-gauge metal and is excluded. The written warranty is issued against the project when the order is placed; the sample below shows what it covers.
Panel warranties
5V crimp, rib and PBR
The exposed fastener panels run on different coil from the standing seam line, and the coverage differs with the coating and the substrate you specify.
- Mill finish Galvalume, SMP and Kynar 500 PVDF are all available on this line
- Terms are confirmed in writing on the quote, before you order
- The written warranty is issued against the project and furnished with the material
We quote the term for the exact panel, gauge and finish on your job rather than a headline number, because the coverage is not the same across the range. Ask your ERS Metals contact and we will put it in writing.
Installation warranty
ERS Installations
Limited lifetime warranty on the workmanship of all installations completed by ERS Installations, effective on full payment. It covers labor; the panel warranty above covers the material.
Both are specimens shown for review. Neither grants coverage on its own; the warranty issued for your project governs.
