Palm Beach County is the largest county in Florida by land area and one of the most varied: the barrier island's landmarked estates, downtown West Palm's high-rise core, the western suburbs of Wellington and Royal Palm Beach, and the agricultural Glades out toward Belle Glade and Lake Okeechobee.
A point worth being precise about is that Palm Beach County is not inside the High Velocity Hurricane Zone. The HVHZ is Miami-Dade and Broward only. Palm Beach is a high design-wind county with a serious building department, but the full range of profiles we stock is permittable here, which is not true one county south.
Exposure runs the full scale. The Town of Palm Beach and Singer Island are direct oceanfront where aluminum and PVDF are the only sensible substrate and finish, while Wellington and the western county are far enough inland that Galvalume is a fair, permittable specification. The Glades add an agricultural structural-panel market on top of both.
Approvals
Palm Beach County is outside the High Velocity Hurricane Zone - the HVHZ is Miami-Dade and Broward only - so every profile in our catalog can be permitted in West Palm Beach.
SL100, SL150, NS150, M100 and M150 carry HVHZ and Miami-Dade approval, which is a higher bar than Palm Beach County requires, so those specs clear plan review with room to spare.
NS100, 5V, RIB and PBR are approved for use outside the HVHZ, which covers Palm Beach County and every other Florida county except Miami-Dade and Broward. They are fully permittable here.
