Tallahassee is the state capital and Leon County is inland, about twenty-five miles from the Gulf. That distance takes salt out of the equation but does nothing about wind: storms coming ashore in the Big Bend arrive here with plenty left, as Michael in 2018 and Idalia in 2023 both demonstrated.

Leon County is outside the High Velocity Hurricane Zone - the HVHZ is Miami-Dade and Broward only - so every profile in our catalog can be permitted in Tallahassee.
SL100, SL150, NS150, M100 and M150 carry HVHZ and Miami-Dade approval, which is a higher bar than Leon County requires, so those specs clear plan review with room to spare.
NS100, 5V, RIB and PBR are approved for use outside the HVHZ, which covers Leon County and every other Florida county except Miami-Dade and Broward. They are fully permittable here.
