Seam profile and panel width are design decisions in Sarasota, not line items - so we set them before fabrication rather than after a truck has rolled.

Sarasota has an unusual architectural culture for Florida. The Sarasota School of Architecture left the city with a serious modernist inventory - flat planes, deep overhangs, long horizontal lines - and that tradition still shapes what gets built. Standing seam is the roof that reads correctly on those buildings, and seam profile and panel width matter to the people specifying them.
Siesta Key, Longboat Key and Lido Key are barrier islands with full Gulf exposure. Milton came ashore at Siesta Key in 2024, which reset a lot of assumptions about what the island building stock needs to survive. Aluminum panels with a PVDF finish are what we quote out there, without much argument about it.
Inland Sarasota County is a completely different market. Venice, North Port and the I-75 corridor are large, fast, price-led residential growth where rib panel and value standing seam do the work. One county, two entirely separate specifications.
Approvals
Sarasota County is outside the High Velocity Hurricane Zone - the HVHZ is Miami-Dade and Broward only - so every profile in our catalog can be permitted in Sarasota.
SL100, SL150, NS150, M100 and M150 carry HVHZ and Miami-Dade approval, which is a higher bar than Sarasota County requires, so those specs clear plan review with room to spare.
NS100, 5V, RIB and PBR are approved for use outside the HVHZ, which covers Sarasota County and every other Florida county except Miami-Dade and Broward. They are fully permittable here.

Getting it there
Sarasota is served by crated statewide freight out of Northeast Florida. It is a long leg and we will not pretend otherwise: we quote a delivery date with the order and crate the panels so they arrive straight, dry and ready to set.
